This was my second most challenging cake yet! I was asked to do a John Deere tractor. I opted to do a 2D version, but then, after re-thinking and dreaming a little, decided to try a 3D version! It came together, but, like the wedding dress cake 2 weeks ago, I had to put a machine together – and I don’t know much, if anything, about tractor parts! So, I went about putting small pieces together one piece at a time. My husband pointed out that I missed the lug nutts on the front tires, and he says the frame needs a little aligning! π haha, he has no idea how hard it is!Β All in all, I’m happy with the outcome! I’ll do it again for sure! Marble cake, with chocolate icing – Rice Krispie tires. Fondant piggies.
Good job Em, it looks great! Hope that little piggy doesn’t get run over LOL π

You had a tough job thats for sure, Emma went right for the big tires and had a hay day!!! The cake was sooo yummy and moist…the little piggers they were alive I swear they kept rollin off but after taking out their tails Emma ensured they had a new place to settle in her tummy!!! We had lots to share with friends and every single one of them were jealous for sure!!!! Great job thanks again for making her birthday so memorable…we will be returning..Hmmm I wonder what her cake will be when she is 3….. π
