Second Birthday

This was my second most challenging cake yet! I was asked to do a John Deere tractor. I opted to do a 2D version, but then, after re-thinking and dreaming a little, decided to try a 3D version! It came together, but, like the wedding dress cake 2 weeks ago, I had to put a machine together – and I don’t know much, if anything, about tractor parts! So, I went about putting small pieces together one piece at a time. My husband pointed out that I missed the lug nutts on the front tires, and he says the frame needs a little aligning! πŸ™‚ haha, he has no idea how hard it is!Β All in all, I’m happy with the outcome! I’ll do it again for sure! Marble cake, with chocolate icing – Rice Krispie tires. Fondant piggies.
